Privacy
Briefbase is a small, invite-only productivity app for tasks, projects, reading, journaling, skills and notes. Each person has a private workspace at their own address (for example name.briefbase.in).
What we store
What you put into Briefbase: tasks, projects, notes, journal entries, reading links, practice logs and settings. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, name and profile picture, and use them only to identify you and check that you were invited.
Who can see it
Only the people who are members of your workspace. Workspaces are kept separate from each other. We don’t sell your data, show ads, or share it with anyone except the services needed to run the app (below).
Services we use
Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database) store and serve the app. If your workspace uses the AI brief, a summary of your tasks, projects, skills and recent journal entries is sent through Vercel AI Gateway to an AI model to write it. Those requests are routed only to providers that keep zero data and don’t train on it.
Cookies
One sign-in cookie keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can switch the AI brief off in Settings at any time. To export or permanently delete your workspace and all its data, email contact.briefbase@gmail.com.
